Sherri’s Custom Shed: A Perfect Blend of Antique Charm and Storage

Sherri’s shed plans all started with a love of antique windows.
Without a garage on their property, Sherri and her husband needed extra storage space, and a new shed was the perfect solution. But no average shed would do. With a passion for upcycling and refurbishing vintage items, they wanted a shed that reflected their unique style.

Getting Started

First came the windows. Sherri found four perfect antique windows—two from eBay and two from an online retailer, Etsy. While she worked on refurbishing the windows, she and her husband started searching for a shed to match.

“We checked out quite a few companies in our area, but it was clear that Tuff Shed was the best. The displays felt so well-built and solid,” says Sherri.

After meeting with their local Tuff Shed ASM, they decided on an 8×8 TR-800. They sent the antique windows to the Tuff Shed factory to ensure the design matched perfectly.

“It all came together so well, and I just love how the windows look,” says Sherri.

DIY

While the shed looks like a true She Shed, it’s used just for storage. That didn’t stop Sherri from adding a few personal DIY touches. She crafted custom window boxes out of old cornice boards that her daughter was about to throw away.

“My husband and I took one look at them and knew they would make beautiful window boxes,” laughs Sherri.

Their new shed is a perfect balance of old and new—featuring vintage charm, custom craftsmanship, and Tuff Shed quality that’s built to last for years to come.
