The Perfect Potting Shed

January 4, 2018|building of the month
A black and white TB600 shed in a backyard, surrounded by lush greenery and raised wooden garden beds under a clear sky.

Michelle Adams TB-600 Potting Shed

Michelle Adams’ new Michigan backyard just wouldn’t have been complete without a garden. And she couldn’t have a garden without a Tuff Shed potting shed.

After years of living the New York lifestyle, Michelle knew that she needed a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. A move back to her home state of Michigan brought a welcome break to her schedule and allowed Michelle to focus on the remodel of her new two-story colonial home.-

A small dog walks on a gravel path in a garden with sunlight filtering through trees, wooden planters, TB600 shed in the back, and a fenced yard.

Even with a much needed restyling of the home, Michelle still felt that something was missing. The backyard was overgrown and unapproachable and a new garden and entertainment space would fix that. With the help of the Home Depot and Tuff Shed, Michelle was able to fully transform an outdated backyard into a Pinterest-worthy space.

The entire backyard transformation is awe-inspiring, but of course our favorite part is Michelle’s new potting shed. The new 8x8 TB-600 became a perfect addition to her blossoming veggie garden. As Michelle says, “Basically this is where you’ll find me all summer.”

As a former editor in chief of Domino magazine and co-founder of Lonny, Michelle certainly has an eye for design, as evident in the interior of her shed. No detail was overlooked. “Once the shed was designed so beautifully, it made me rethink what I put in it (ugly brooms are not worthy,” says Adams.
